Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from any where outside the UK, please contact us directly so we can process your order manually.
We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. We reserve the right not to fulfill any orders received. This is to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling
Because of the unusual size to weight ratio of many archery items, postage costs will only be automatically calculated by the shopping cart system for goods delivered to the UK. Over water, and some areas of Scotland may incur additional charges, but we will always contact you first for approval before shipping the goods.
Delivery Schedule
We try to deliver your order right away. We normally dispatch orders within 2 business days. Custom items such as some bow options, special ordered, or arrow building will take longer to prepare. Average delivery time for these items are 7-10 business days.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.
Returns Policy
We want you to be happy with your purchase! If you have any issues or problems with your order, please call us so we can assist.
Under the Distance Selling Regulations (2000) you have the right to cancel the contract relating to your order at any time up to the end of 7 working days after the goods are delivered. Some products are exempt, and can not be returned after processing of your order has begun. Examples include goods made to your specifications or modified from the manufacturers original specifications by your request. These include, but are not limited to, arrow shafts cut to your length, fletching of arrows, some custom made bows and custom made bowstrings. DVD's may not be returned if unsealed.
If you exercise your right of cancellation, you will be responsible for returning the goods to Merlin Bows at your own cost. The Distance Selling Regulations (2000) places a duty on you to take reasonable care of the goods once you have exercised your right to cancel. Returned items must be packaged properly and shipped with appropriate insurance and traceability. Merlin Bows will refund you within 30 days the value of the original order.
