About Imago 3D Targets

When a group of fellow archers set to start Imago-3D we had a very clear vision of what we wanted to achieve, summarized in three points.

First, we want our targets to faithfully reproduce the real animal.

Second, we want our targets to last long and allow easy arrow pull.

Third, we want our targets to be affordable, and able to replace a damaged middle section (which always happens before the rest of the target wears out!).

We believe we have managed all three.

Imago-3D targets look truer to the animal than any mass-produced target in the market, crafted with extreme detail. They also last longer thanks to an extensively researched material, tested under extreme conditions. All this at a similar price than competitor offerings.

DETAIL

Our artists have a BSc in Fine Arts and carefully study pictures and footage of the animal before any detail is decided.

Our staff discusses different stances, looking for a natural and dynamic look so that the archer can for a short while feel the thrill of the hunt. We don't like shortcuts or compromises, that's why most of our targets have four separate legs for a truly natural look. Look close and you'll see that we spent long hours crafting every tiny detail. Hide, fur, ears, etc. have all been faithfully reproduced.

PERFORMANCE

We have spent literally hundreds of hours in penetration, density and durability tests, testing dozens of formulations until we hit the right spot.

As archers, we wanted a material with great stopping power, that also allowed easy arrow pull and durable at the same time, even in the smallest targets.

Where the actual animal was very small we have decided to make them slightly bigger than life. On side-by-side stress tests our targets stop many more arrows that competitor offerings.

Our targets are made in Granada, Spain, which provides the ideal location for extreme testing. At the Southern tip of Europe but very close to the Iberian peninsula highest peaks, Sierra Nevada, our targets endure scorching heat in summer and freezing winters.

AFFORDABLE

Cost was another key aspect. Targets will eventually be damaged beyond practical use, so they should not be too expensive.

Our prices are competitive, and we believe that the price/quality ratio is the best in the industry.

On side-by-side tests for similar targets made by our competitors our targets last longer, look better, offer superior surface and volume while keeping the same price. We also sell replacement middle sections of our bigger targets. Why purchase a new target when the head and hind legs have only suffered a few shots?

We are developing our product portfolio in themed series. We have started with an "Iberian fauna" series. 20 targets giving an overview of the diverse fauna of our country, Spain. Our next step will be an African, then a European, Asian and American fauna series.
